Programs to help Scouts obtain merit badges about the fundamentals of aviation are offered at the museum.

Saturday Scouting Programs

Groups can request specific programs on Saturdays for Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, or Civil Air Patrol units.   You can set up your Saturday program with our education staff.

Overnight Programs

Come spend a night at the museum during our Overnight Program.

This overnight program is a great opportunity for groups to experience aviation. They will learn about principles of flight and Wichita aviation history. We can customize your program for either Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, or Civil Air Patrol units. You can sleep in our KC 135 or Boeing 727 (weather permitting).

Itinerary:

  • Arrive at 6:00 p.m. on Friday or Saturday
  • Pizza Dinner with evening snack
  • Aviation Education Evening Program
  • Continental Breakfast
  • Depart at 8:00 a.m. the following morning
