Warner earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical Engineering at the University of Kansas in 1964. That year he joined Boeing Airplane Company, where he worked on commercial airplane models ranging from the 707 to the 787. Warner was the program manager for the forward fuselage, struts and wing leading edges, of the 787. His research has helped define and set new standards in commercial aviation, and his reputation for excellence in engineering is recognized by leading aviation organizations across the country.
