Bleck joined Cessna Aircraft Corporation in Wichita as Chief Engineer for the Wallace Division in 1961. After a stint as Vice President and CEO of the Piper Aircraft Corporation, Bleck returned to Wichita in 1986, as the Vice President of Beech Aircraft. He left Beech in January 1987 to assume the presidency of Cessna Aircraft Company. He left shortly after, and returned to Beech as the President and CEO in 1987, where he remained until March of 1990. He finished his career in the aviation industry as President of Raytheon Company in Lexington, Massachusetts. Bleck served as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the General Aviation Manufacturers Association and is nationally recognized for his aviation leadership and management skills.
