Dr. Alysia Starkey is the CEO and Dean of the Kansas State University Salina Aerospace and Technology Campus. She served as associate dean of academics before being appointed as the CEO and Dean in 2018.   Through the historic Global Aeronautics Initiative and subsequent Next-Gen K-State Salina strategic plan, she leads a diverse team that is transforming the future of aerospace, UAS, and advanced air mobility. Her leadership has resulted in over $160 million of direct investment in the campus, the relocation of multiple companies to the Salina area in direct support of the campus’s growth, and increased student enrollment and graduation. She is also dedicated to preserving the campus’s commitment to hands-on and real-world education that prepares students to be career ready. Dr. Starkey enables faculty, staff and students to become leaders in shaping the future of global aviation.
