“The Air Capital City in the Modern World Part B – How Wichita Exploded into Global Importance”
Wichita Aviation Centennial Chairman Richard Harris will be presenting a dramatic slide show which tells the amazing story of how Wichita became the “Air Capital City”. He will explain how Wichita exploded into global importance by building American air power in World War II, the Cold War, and producing many of the world’s most important airliners. Mr. Harris will show how this effort spread general aviation worldwide, while setting world records.
Richard Harris is a aviation industry reporter and historian.
